November 10, 2021

Patrol Check – 1:48 p.m. – 8000 block of Redford Ln. – The caller stated that juveniles were riding dirt bikes on Redford. Police contacted a juvenile and walked to the juvenile’s residence to talk with the juvenile’s parents. The subject was warned and the family counseled.
Suspicious Circumstances – 5:41 p.m. – 7700 block of Walker St. – The reporting party and her family were reportedly being chased in the front parking lot by a female subject who stated that she owed her money for pizza. The subject left before police arrived.

November 11, 2021

Vehicle Tampering Report – 11:10 a.m. – 5000 block of Pine Cir. – A catalytic converter was reportedly stolen from a silver 2003 Honda Accord between 6 p.m. and 11 a.m. Report taken.

November 12, 2021

Disturbance (Subject) – 9:04 a.m. – 5400 block of La Palma Ave. – A subject was reportedly throwing property around inside the business and also stole a drink. No prosecution was desired; the reporting party only wanted the subject to leave the area. Police contacted the subject and conducted a search. The subject, a 49-year-old Garden Grove resident, was arrested for appropriating lost property and later released on citation.
Domestic Abuse – 10:35 a.m. – 7900 block of Birchwood Cir. – A female subject was reportedly punched in the face by her ex-boyfriend. All parties were in the living room of the residence. OCFA was requested regarding pain to male genitalia. A 23-year-old male subject was arrested for inflicting corporal injury on a domestic partner.

November 13, 2021

Stray Animal – 2:57 p.m. – 7300 block of Del Mar Ln. – The reporting party was attempting to catch a large grey dog. Police collected the dog and transported it to the station. SEAACA notified.
Suspicious Subject – 4:03 p.m. – Edison Right-of-Way/Laurelwood – A subject unknown to the area was reportedly pacing and looked lost and was possibly on drugs. Police contacted the subject, who was subsequently arrested for possession of unlawful paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance, and a bench warrant for failure to appear on a misdemeanor charge.
Disturbance (Subject) – 9:49 p.m. – 4900 block of El Rancho Verde Dr. – The reporting party heard a male and a female arguing for approximately fifteen minutes. Police determined that the argument was between a subject and his sister. Party advised and will comply.

November 14, 2021

Counterfeit Currency – 10:03 a.m. – 5000 block of Sharon Dr. – The reporting party was in possession of a fake $1 bill possibly received at the Yorba Linda Holiday Boutique. Report taken.
Welfare Check – 5:09 p.m. – 7500 block of Silverado Ln. – A subject was reportedly sitting in a flower bed, talking to himself. The subject advised that he was a neighbor. The subject was cited for an open container.

November 15, 2021

Medical Aid – 3:00 p.m. – 5200 block of Bridgewood Dr. – The caller’s brother reportedly passed out and was bleeding. The subject was 72 years old. OCFA responded. The subject was breathing but not conscious and was transported to the hospital.
Transient – 7:01 p.m. – 6700 block of Valley View St. – A male subject engaged in a verbal argument with the reporting party after being advised regarding trespassing. Police received conflicting stories from both parties. The reporting party desired prosecution but police were unable to determine if a crime did occur. The suspect stated that he was aware of the officers’ orders to not step foot on the property and advised that he did not and stayed on the street.

November 16, 2021

Illegally Parked Vehicle – 8:59 a.m. – Centerpointe Dr. – The caller complained of a white delivery van parked illegally in a handicapped space. Police contacted the owner of the vehicle, who was delivering packages to the location. Party advised and will comply and the vehicle was moved.
Attempted Stolen Vehicle Report – 10:41 a.m. – 7000 block of Walker St. – The vehicle was ransacked and the ignition damaged. It appeared nothing was missing.

November 17, 2021

Disturbance (Fight) – 5:48 p.m. – 5500 block of La Palma Ave. – Two male subjects were reportedly fighting, and the caller was concerned that the fight might escalate. When police arrived, the subjects had already gone their separate ways and police were unable to locate them.
Medical Aid – 5:59 p.m. – 5800 block of Calaveras Cir. – The caller’s son possibly had alcohol poisoning and was throwing up. The subject was transported to the hospital.
