Most of the core coverage area of Orange County Breeze will fall in the new First District, according to the map chosen by the Orange County Board of Supervisors at a meeting on Monday, November 22. (The map chosen was 5A-1.) This was a preliminary vote. The final vote will take place in December. We will live with the results of the vote for the next ten years.

The people who personally spoke at the meeting of the Board of Supervisors all spoke in support of Map 5A-1.

Our coverage area currently falls in the Second District, represented by Katrina Foley. With the new district boundaries, Supervisor Foley will be in the Fifth District and our coverage area will be represented by Andrew Do.

The cities (or communities) that make up the new First District are listed below:

Despite being split across multiple districts, Garden Grove is the second largest community. Third largest is Westminster, followed by Fountain Valley and the smaller communities to the north and west.
