Casa Youth Shelter presents “Can’t Stop Us!” virtual event for teens

The Youth Leadership Conference is an annual day of self-discovery, friendship, cultural exchange, leadership building, inspiration, and service. Featuring a series of intensive workshops and a dynamic keynote speaker, this event focuses on educating and empowering future leaders. Workshops include:

  • Ending the Silence
  • How to be an LGBTQ+ Ally
  • Social Emotions
  • and More

This FREE virtual event is open to Middle School and High School students. Students who participate will be offered 7 community service hours for attending the conference.

As we navigate this new world, it is important for youth to have the knowledge and tools necessary to support their peers and ask for help if needed. Students will leave with the information necessary to become advocates and ambassadors for themselves and each other.
