November 29, 2021

Vehicle Theft – 7:33 a.m. – 9000 block of Bloomfield – Sometime overnight, an unknown suspect stole the victim’s Ford. Vehicle was later located unoccupied at approximately 11:05 a.m. by the California Highway Patrol in the city of Santa Fe Springs.
Vehicle Burglary – 9:38 a.m. – 5800 block of Lincoln Ave. – Between 9:20 a.m. and 9:30 a.m., an unknown suspect forced entry into the victim’s vehicle by punching the door lock. The loss is paperwork, tools, and marijuana.
Assist Outside Agency/Pursuit – 5:35 p.m. – Lincoln/Walker – Santa Ana Police Department was in pursuit of an attempt homicide suspect westbound Lincoln from Valley View. The suspect was involved in a traffic collision in the intersection of Lincoln & Walker. The suspect fled on foot from the vehicle and the suspect was taken into custody by Santa Ana PD officers. No Cypress officers were involved in the pursuit. The traffic collision resulted in a complaint of pain to the involved parties. A Cypress Officer handled the traffic collision investigation.

November 30, 2021

Vehicle Burglary – 4:41 p.m. – 8500 block of La Salle – Sometime overnight, an unknown suspect forced entry into the victim’s vehicle and stole two laptops, Air pods, shoes, and coins.
Injury Traffic Collision – 5:06 p.m. – Valley View/Lemon – Two vehicles collided in the intersection and one vehicle drove through the block wall on the southwest corner. One party sustained moderate head injuries
Vandalism – 8:09 p.m. – 9100 block of Valley View St. – A witness observed three subjects purchase spray paint at Home Depot, then spray paint “BP 1503” at the rear of the location.

December 1, 2021

Catalytic Converter Theft – 9:51 a.m. – 10100 block of Christopher St. – Sometime within the last week, an unknown suspect stole the catalytic converter from the victim’s vehicle.
Incident Report – 6:00 p.m. – 9000 block of Bloomfield – An eleven-year-old foster child reportedly inappropriately fondled his thirteen-year-old stepsister.

December 2, 2021

Graffiti – 3:11 p.m. – 6900 block of Jonathan – Police received a report of blue spray paint on the wall. The 30’x 10’ graffiti was illegible. Public Works was notified.
Petty Theft – 7:50 p.m. – 5500 block of Ball Rd. – Two subjects entered the store and stole approximately $900 in miscellaneous cosmetics and fled on foot in an unknown direction of travel.
Petty Theft – 9:09 p.m. – 5800 block of Lincoln Ave. – A male subject stole six rolls of wire valued at $900 and fled in a black Jeep.

December 3, 2021

Traffic Stop – 12:06 p.m. – Lincoln/Walker – From a traffic stop, Officers arrested a female subject for possession of drug paraphernalia and another subject for possession of a controlled substance.
Stolen Vehicle – 5:40 p.m. – 9600 block of Bloomfield – The victim’s rented U-haul was stolen overnight. No property was inside the U-haul.

December 4, 2021

Grand Theft – 7:02 a.m. – 10000 block of Saint Francis – Sometime overnight, an unknown suspect cut the lock on the victim’s work truck and stole $1400 worth of tools.
Vehicle Burglary – 4:24 p.m. – 6800 block of Katella Ave. – Between 2:30 p.m. and time of call, an unknown suspect broke the window of the victim’s vehicle and stole $300 worth of clothes.

December 5, 2021

Vandalism – 10:06 a.m. – 5200 block of Orange Ave. – The victim’s truck was vandalized while it was parked int he parking lot overnight.
Domestic Violence – 7:10 p.m. – 5300 block of Nelson – A subject was arrested by Officers for felony domestic violence.
