  1. Southbound (SB) I-405 Loop On-Ramp from Bolsa Chica Road is OPEN — Sometime between Thursday 12/16 and early morning Friday 12/17, Bolsa Chica Road, both northbound (new) and southbound, can now enter the 405 South. There is a new traffic signal on the downhill side of the Bolsa Chica bridge. BTW the Bolsa Chica bridge, full-width is now open.

    1. Geoff,

Thank you for reading Orange County Breeze, and for taking the time to give us this status report on Bolsa Chica Road!

    2. Actually when I drove through this area during daylight hours on Friday, the 405 SB on-ramp (left turn) for Bolsa Chica northbound traffic is coned off and when I drove the 405 South and looked for the Bolsa Chica exit, it too was coned off. Parts of the Bolsa Chica bridge are still blocked off in the median area.

      1. Kathy,

Thank you for reading Orange County Breeze, and for taking the time to update Geoff’s report on the Bolsa Chica exit from the 405.

Everybody stay sharp out there, and watch out for construction activity.

Again, thank you for reading Orange County Breeze.
