Republican candidate for the 70th Assembly District, Ted Bui, announced receiving the endorsement of the Fountain Valley Police Officers’ Association (FVPOA).
FVPOA President Isaac Marquez said, “Based on our comprehensive internal process, your distinguished career, qualifications, record of support for public safety and following the laws, our own inquiries and recommendations from other supporters and law enforcement entities have led us to endorse your candidacy.”
The 70th Assembly District is a newly drawn Assembly District entirely nested in Orange County that includes the cities of Fountain Valley, Westminster, and Garden Grove and portions of Santa Ana, Los Alamitos, Huntington Beach, Stanton, Seal Beach and Midway City.
Ted Bui serves as President of the Fountain Valley Rotary Club and is active in the Fountain Valley Chamber of Commerce. Fountain Valley is one of the largest cities in the new district, which also includes Garden Grove, Westminster, Los Alamitos, Rossmoor, Stanton and parts of Huntington Beach, Santa Ana and Seal Beach.
As a City Councilman, Ted has led efforts to ease COVID restrictions that harm local small businesses and has been a champion for increased public safety. In addition to crime and the economy, Ted promises to focus his efforts on reducing homelessness and traffic congestion.
Ted Bui has been a business owner for over 20 years with a legal background. Ted and his wife, Attorney Rose Bui, have four children.
