January 10, 2022

Occupied Vehicle Check – 2:09 p.m. – 5900 block of Corporate – From an occupied vehicle check, a female subject was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.
Grand Theft – 5:27 p.m. – 6500 block of Katella Ave. – Between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m., an unknown suspect stole the victim’s catalytic converter (valued at $1,500), from a 2006 Toyota Tundra.

January 11, 2022

Burglary – 8:01 a.m. – 9100 block of Valley View St. – Between 11/5/21 and 1/5/22, an unknown suspect entered the victim’s storage unit by breaking the lock and stole approximately $1,100 worth of household items,
Burglary – 11:49 a.m. – 5300 block of Harvard Wy. – Sometime in the last 24 hours, an unknown suspect broke into the mailboxes and stole mail and packages.

January 12, 2022

Pedestrian Check – 1:15 a.m. – Knott/Cerritos – From a pedestrian check, a male subject was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.
Recovered Stolen Vehicle – 10:00 p.m. – 5800 block of Lincoln Ave. – The victim notified the police that his vehicle, previously stolen in Irvine by his ex-girlfriend, was located in the parking lot.

January 13, 2022

Disturbance – 9:39 a.m. – 5900 block of Corporate – From a call of a disturbance, a female subject was arrested for felony vandalism after she threw furniture and broke several items inside.
Vehicle Burglary – 12:14 p.m. – 5400 block of Villa Wy. – Between 8 a.m. and 12 p.m., unknown suspect smashed the window to the victim’s vehicle and stole the owner’s manual.
Vandalism – 12:36 p.m. – 5400 block of Villa Wy. – An unknown suspect (likely related to above entry) smashed the window to the victim’s vehicle. No property was taken.

January 14, 2022

Recovered Stolen Vehicle – 1:45 a.m. – Danny/Walker – An unoccupied stolen vehicle was located parked at the location. The vehicle had been stolen in Cypress on 12/12/21. The registered owner responded to the scene and took possession of the vehicle.
Arrest – 8:21 p.m. – 6800 block of Katella Ave. – From a call for service, one subject was arrested for several warrants and a second subject for felon in possession of ammunition, forgery, possession of narcotics and possession of burglary tools.

January 15, 2022

Arrest – 3:11 a.m. – 10700 block of Walker St. – While on a patrol check, a Police Services Officer located a male subject, who was arrested for burglary and a probation hold.
Vehicle Tampering Report – 10:39 a.m. – 9100 block of Whitney Wy. – At 5:32 a.m., two suspects attempted to steal the victim’s black Chevrolet Silverado as the door handle and steering column were broken. The suspects were captured on surveillance and only described as two Hispanic males wearing dark clothing. The suspect vehicle was a white or silver SUV.
Arson – 5:47 p.m. – 9800 block of Novara – Police took a late-reported arson report, after the victim’s son set fire to a chair in front of their house. No damage was caused by the chair fire.

January 16, 2022

Incident Report – 8:18 a.m. – Casa Grande Cir. – Police responded for a 6-year-old boy with a fractured femur. Following an investigation, it was determined that the child sustained the injury after jumping off a table inside his residence. Report taken for documentation purposes.
Burglary Attempt – 1:35 p.m. – 4600 block of Lincoln Ave. – Sometime over the past 24 hours, an unknown suspect attempted to gain entry to the victim’s residence by bending and removing a window screen to the living room. Entry was not made into the residence.
