Cedars-Sinai Kerlan-Jobe Institute, a world leader in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of sports-related injuries and illnesses, today announced a new multi-year partnership with the Surf City Marathon and Long Beach Marathon as the Official Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine Partner of the events.
The partnership kicks off with the Surf City Marathon and Half Marathon on Sunday, February 6 and continues through the Long Beach Marathon and Half Marathon in October. The Southern California races annually combine to attract more than 30,000 runners.

The 26th edition of the Surf City Marathon is a world-class destination event with the expo, start line and finish line festival all taking place just steps away from the sand and oceanfront resorts. Cedars-Sinai Kerlan-Jobe will be creating custom content and digital media throughout race weekend, with plans to activate onsite at the race expo to support runners in Huntington Beach.
The Long Beach Marathon has been one of the most popular and respected marathons in the country for going for nearly 40 years. The 26.2-mile scenic course showcases the city’s miles of sandy beaches and unique neighborhoods. Most importantly, the event annually provides a platform for dozens of local charities and non-profit organizations to raise money for their respective causes.

About the Surf City Marathon
The Surf City Marathon and Half Marathon annually takes place the first Sunday in February attracting thousands of runners from around the world. The scenic course gives runners an oceanfront tour of Huntington Beach with the start and finish line located just steps from the beach. A two-day Active Lifestyle Expo kicks off race weekend in Huntington Beach Parking Lot on Friday and Saturday.
