California’s leading conservative donor organization, the Lincoln Club of Orange County, announced its endorsement of Pat Bates for the 5th District Supervisor seat on the Orange County Board of Supervisors. Senator Bates entered the race and united the donor community which has raised her $150,000 in less than a week from her formal announcement. With a record of accomplishments for Orange County families, Bates is the only candidate who has run and won every election, consistently earning the support of voters.

Lincoln Club of Orange County President Teresa Hernandez issued the following statement:

“Senator Pat Bates is the only candidate who can beat radical liberal Katrina Foley. Senator Bates captured the attention of the donor community with her sensational leadership in Sacramento as she has pushed back against the anti-business, anti-public safety, and anti-freedom agendas which are plaguing our county and our state.

We are certain beyond a shadow of a doubt that Senator Bates is the woman that Orange County voters can depend on to fight for them at every turn. The donor community is united and will use all the resources it takes to deliver a win for Pat Bates.”

The newly drawn 5th District for the Orange County Board of Supervisors now includes San Clemente, Dana Point, San Juan Capistrano, Laguna Niguel, Aliso Viejo, Laguna Hills, Laguna Beach, Laguna Woods, Newport Beach, and parts of Irvine and Costa Mesa. An adept, seasoned public servant, Sen. Bates is widely known and loved across the county based on her great diversity of experience as the first Mayor of Laguna Niguel, a member of the California State Assembly, and most recently as the Minority Leader of the California State Senate.
