California State Senator and Former Federal Prosecutor Tom Umberg endorses Suzie Price For Mayor for Long Beach City Mayor.
The endorsement comes on the heels of Price raising $300,000 in four weeks and receiving endorsements from Long Beach Unified School District Board Member Doug Otto, Long Beach Councilmembers Daryl Supernaw and Stacy Mungo, and Assemblymember Patrick O’Donnell, among others.
“I am proud to support Suzie Price for Long Beach Mayor,” says Umberg. “Suzie has served the residents of Long Beach as a Councilmember and also serves the residents of other parts of my district as an Assistant District Attorney. She has committed her life to public service and takes her responsibility to her residents very seriously. Her ‘Service Over Politics’ approach to both of her jobs has demonstrated a pattern of hard work, solutions-oriented leadership and integrity. I look forward to seeing the great work she will do as the next Mayor of Long Beach.”

“I am proud to have earned the endorsement of Tom Umberg in this election,” says Price. “Tom has served our country in so many ways, as a U.S. Army Colonel, in the State Assembly for three terms, as a former federal prosecutor, and currently in the California State Legislature. He has dedicated his life to public service and making our community, state, and country better. I respect his pragmatic and common sense leadership, as well as his commitment to public safety and ensuring a fair and just criminal justice system for all.
