Bill Lockyer endorses Suzie Price for Mayor of Long Beach

Former California State Attorney General, State Treasurer, and California Senate President Pro Tempore Bill Lockyer announced his endorsement of Suzie Price For Mayor for Long Beach City Mayor.

The endorsement comes on the heels of Price raising $300,000 in four weeks and receiving endorsements from Long Beach Unified School District Board Member Doug Otto, Long Beach Councilmembers Daryl Supernaw and Stacy Mungo, Assemblymember Patrick O’Donnell, and Senator Tom Umberg among others.

“I’m voting for Suzie Price,” says Lockyer. “She’s smart, hard-working, accessible and devoted to making Long Beach better. I’m especially impressed with her commitment to helping victims of crime and to effective crime prevention. Suzie has represented her district in an effective, “non-political” way. She’ll serve the entire city that way, too.”

Mr. Lockyer has an expansive knowledge of California government and a deep commitment to public service. As Mayor, I intend to consult him to make the best decisions for the City of Long Beach and emulate his dedication to our city and state. I am extremely proud to receive this California icon’s endorsement.”
