Seal Beach Police Department supports Autism Awareness Month

The Seal Beach Police Department will be wearing a special patch during the month of April to show support for Autism Awareness.

April is recognized as Autism Awareness Month. To show support to the autism community, members of the Seal Beach Police Department will be wearing a special Autism Awareness patch on their uniforms during the month of April. Patrol cars will also be adorned with a magnetic decal.

Two versions of the patch are available for sale to the public for $10 each. Methods of payment include:

  • Cash – At the front counter of the Seal Beach Police Department located at 911 Seal Beach Boulevard, Seal Beach, CA 90740.
  • Check – Write to the Seal Beach Police League with the note “Autism Patch.” Please note additional instructions below.
  • PayPal – Sent to [email protected] Please include an additional $1.50 for envelope and handling.

Checks can be mailed to the Seal Beach Police Department with attention to Sergeant Joe Garcia. Be sure to mail a self-returned label or envelope with the recipient address if mailing a check, and postage stamp with the desired patch number.

Proceeds from the sale of the patches will be donated to an organization within the autism community.
