CCEJ’s Racial Justice Roots Convening

In connection with the awards celebration, CCEJ will also host its second convening on racial justice on Friday, May 20 from 8:30 am – 4:00 pm at Long Beach City College.
CCEJ’s Racial Justice Roots Convening will increase participants’ knowledge and skills for anti-racist practices, and help them make connections with one another to build unity and solidarity for racial justice. CCEJ Executive Director Reena Hajat Carroll says, “The Roots Convening is an incredible opportunity to bring our Southern California region together to build community that learns with and from each other in the context of racial equity and transformation.”
Individual tickets to the Humanitarian Awards Celebration are $200 and include admission to the Convening. Tickets to the Convening are $50-100.
