Colburn Orchestra at the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts

The Colburn Orchestra comes to the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts (CCPA) on Saturday, January 28 at 7:00 PM. Tickets are $35; admission for students and children ages 12 and younger is $25.
With conductor Simone Menezes and bassoon player Elena Mateo Sáez, the COLBURN ORCHESTRA puts the velvety sound of the bassoon on full display in a riveting Cerritos showcase featuring Camargo Guarneri’s boisterous Brazilian masterpiece Aperture Concertante; Bernhard Crusell’s Bassoon Concertino in B-Flat Major; and Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s struggle against fate in the Symphony No. 5 in e minor, Op. 65.
