Grampaw Pettibone Squadron: Naval Aviation Tragedies in Orange County

Join Grampaw Pettibone Squadron, in collaboration with Two Block Fox Squadron, on Zoom for Naval Aviation Tragedies in Orange County, presented by G. Pat Macha, aviation archaeologist and historian on Thursday, September 10, 2020 at 1 p.m.
The intensive accelerated training due to military necessity some time had unfortunate consequences. As a result, Southern California has many wrecked aircraft in the rugged terrain that surrounds the training areas of Orange County. Pat Macha will present the tragic stories associated with some of these wrecks.
