The Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts (CCPA) is hosting John Mueller’s Winter Dance Party: A Tribute to Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, and The Big Bopper on Friday, March 18, 8:00 PM. John Mueller’s Winter Dance Party: A Tribute to Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, and The Big Bopper is a live re-creation of the Rock ‘n’ Roll icons’ final concert in 1959 before the trio tragically died in a plane crash. Endorsed by the estates of the three music legends, the exciting concert features John Mueller in a “stunning portrayal” of Holly, hails the Chicago Sun-Times. Rock to the hits of the 1950s: That’ll Be the Day; Peggy Sue; Oh, Boy; Rave on; La Bamba; and Chantilly Lace. The tribute is “flawless!” cheers the Chicago Tribune.
