The Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts (CCPA) celebrates Hawaii’s heritage with LEGENDS: KEOLA BEAMER & HENRY KAPONO delivering an intoxicating breeze of musical paradise on Sunday, January 16 at 7:00 P.M. Tickets start at $50.

KEOLA BEAMER is “the quintessential Hawaiian slack-key guitar master,” raves The New York Times of the island icon who established himself early as a leader of contemporary Hawaiian music when he wrote the all-time best-selling classic song Honolulu City Lights.

Grammy-nominated for a “Rock Album of the Year” for The Wild Hawaiian, HENRY KAPONO “is one of the great island songwriters of his generation,” proclaimed the Honolulu Star-Advertiser. A native Hawaiian, Kapono started singing at age 5 in a children’s church choir. With no formal music training, Kapono taught himself how to play the guitar by listening to records and the radio and observing professional guitarists in action.
