Let’s ‘Chat’ About It Thursdays

For the month of April, the City’s H. Louis Lake Senior Center is offering free workshops called, “Let’s ‘Chat’ About It Thursdays” on Thursdays, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., via Zoom or by phone. Seniors 55 and older can participate in a wellness workshop, virtual recreation, spring craft, and learn about Orange County’s resource and referral system 211.
The virtual workshops are open to all seniors. To register, call (714) 741-5423. Zoom identification number and password will be provided during registration.
Dates and activities are:
April 8 – Discuss wellness during times of grief and loss.
April 15 – Learn how to navigate virtual recreational activities.
April 22 – Let’s get crafty! Pick up a craft kit at the H. Louis Lake Senior Center, located at 11300 Stanford Avenue, Garden Grove, 92840. Space is limited to the first 10 registrations. There will a $5 material fee.
April 29 – Learn how to navigate resources for older adults.
