Regional Military Affairs Committee Meeting

April 26 @ 3:30 pm

featured graphic for JFTB Los Alamitos

You won’t want to miss the April RMAC meeting on Tuesday, April 26 at 3:30 p.m. in the Military Veterans Resource Center, Building 244, just inside the main guard gate. A government photo ID (driver license) will be needed at the Guard Gate on Lexington.

The reason you won’t want to miss is that there are two important strips of concrete at the Joint Forces Training Base known at the US Army Airfield, which was the first thing built in the early 40’s by the US Navy and it remains today and it is a critical element for training and support for our soldiers as the last remaining military airfield in Los Angeles and Orange County. Join us to learn about its history and importance from Airfield Manager Jeff Sibley and Safety Manager Rob Wilson. You can also arrive early and grab a noon sandwich at the Fiddlers Green Pub, and get a 20% discount by.advising your host that you’re on base to attend the RMAC meeting. Or after the meeting, get dinner before hitting the trail home. Same deal applies. Directions are available at the Guard Gate.
