The California Conference for Equality and Justice (CCEJ) will host its 58th Annual Humanitarian Awards Celebration on Wednesday, May 11 from 11:00 am – 1:30 pm at the Museum of Latin American Art in Long Beach. Each year, CCEJ celebrates the contributions of community members who have dedicated their lives
In connection with the awards celebration, CCEJ will also host its second convening on racial justice on Friday, May 20 from 8:30 am – 4:00 pm at Long Beach City College. CCEJ’s Racial Justice Roots Convening will increase participants' knowledge and skills for anti-racist practices, and help them make connections
Please note that for the most part we will only publish events happening in our core coverage area — Cypress, Los Alamitos, Rossmoor, Seal Beach, the Naval Weapons Station, and the Joint Forces Training Base — or in communities bordering on our core coverage area.
