California State Treasurer Fiona Ma announced the results of today’s competitively bid sale of $21.3 million in State Public Works Board (SPWB) lease revenue bonds to provide funding to the Board of State and Community Corrections (BSCC) for the Solano Jail Project, also known as the Rourk Vocational Training Center.
Sen. Bill Dodd, D-Napa, introduced legislation that would help Californians with disabilities save for their financial futures while streamlining accounting requirements for small businesses. “I’m committed to improving the quality of life for people with disabilities,” said Sen. Dodd, who wrote legislation in 2017 to improve the state’s CalABLE program.
Fiona Ma was elected California State Treasurer in November 2018. She previously served as Chair and Vice Chair of the California State Board of Equalization from 2015 to 2019, representing more than nine million taxpayers. There, she led historic reforms to increase efficiency and transparency at the agency. As a
